The Goat — Featuring Palace

Welcome to HUNGER’s newly rebranded The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

First up, it’s over to the patron saints of British skatewear — it’s only bloody Palace. Their fourth drop of the season takes the form of a boatload of winter essentials. There’s everything from classic flannel shirts to fur-lined trucker hats, though there’s a special place in our heart for the faux-fur jacket, which comes in grey, white and blue. We reckon the puffer-esque beanie will be seen on just about every Londoner with a flair for gorpcore, and we also think that Mike Skinner would have worn the oversized parka (complete with digital camo print and furry hood) back in the day. You can shop the collection online and in-store in the UK and on Dover Street Market from today.

Next, it’s one for all you bass junkies. Beats and none other than Kim Kardashian have teamed up for a third collaboration — a special edition Beats Pill. What’s different this time around lies in the aesthetics. In typical Kim K fashion (you’ve seen her gaff), her beats come in light and dark grey. Minimal, sleek and as much for pumping the tunes as they are a solid piece of room decor. More than that, the collab marks the first of its kind for the redesigned Beats Pill, which first launched back in June. A mere taste of some of its new features? 24 hours of battery, USB-C charging and a mode which enables you to amplify whatever tune you’re playing. Treat yourself here

Now, it’s time (wink) for Timex, who have just unveiled a collab with MM6 Maison Margiela. Called the Timex x MM6 Maison Margiela collection (duh), it takes the form of two super sleek silhouettes: a watch and a ring. Both clad in stainless steel and featuring digital displays, what gives them that MM6 touch is the brand’s numerical signature, which is engraved right below where you’ll be reading the time. Best of all, they’re both under £200. The perfect Crimbo present for that hypebeast friend of yours? We think so, even if it takes a whip round with a few other mates. Shop here.

For those who’d prefer to have their little piece of luxury on the crook of their elbow, look no further than Dior, who have just unveiled a new line of Lady Dior bags for their cruise 2025 show. The Lady Dior bag is a time-tested classic, but this time round they’ve been reinvented via the edition of black crinkled calfskin and punky eyelets, which are set off (and made far less punky) with some delicate white pearls. Basically, there’s something for everyone and, lucky for you, they’re already available to shop. Christmas gift for… yourself? Again, we think so.

Last and certainly not least, it’s over to Berghaus, who have been dipping into the archives for their FW24 collection. Yes, chances are if you’ve been perusing the interwebs this week, you’ll have stumbled across the British outerwear company’s newest campaign, which features a reissued jacket from back in the day, and Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher wearing it. The Trango first came on the scene in 1986, becoming known for not just its durability, but that eye-catching block-colour design. It also became a staple of the Britpop crowd. What’s different now? Three layers of GORE-TEX, adjustable chords, a more contemporary fit, and maximum weather resistance. What’s not different now? The Britpop peeps still love it, hence Gallagher. The jacket has already sold out, but you can sign up to join the waitlist. It comes in three colourways, too.
