The Goat — Featuring HADES
First up, we’ve got something of an unexpected pairing for you — Fred Perry has collaborated with British audio specialists Ruark to reimagine their award-winning MR1 speaker system. Drawing inspiration from Perry’s classic black and yellow polo, it’s a nice little merge of British design heritage and acoustic excellence. Ruark, with their four decades of speaker-crafting expertise (courtesy of founder Alan O’Rourke and his master cabinet-maker father), brings the technical prowess while Perry adds their unmistakable style notes. The result? A speaker system that’s as considered in its aesthetics as it is in its sound delivery. Shop here.
We’re particularly excited about this one — HADES has unveiled their AW core collection, which takes cues from the Dada art movement. The seven-piece collection features Scottish-crafted knitwear (which is kind of HADES’ thing) and carefully constructed skirts, made in Somerset using deadstock fabric from a French luxury house. Standouts? The Edie knit introduces a new silhouette with its vintage-inspired, cinched waist, while the hand-screened skirts – each printed in Birmingham – are basically wearable artworks. HADES have also just dropped the Rip Her To Shreds knit, which commemorates the 50th anniversary of the eponymous Blondie song. Last but not least – yes, they’re really treating us – HADES’ winter-ready heat comes in the form of their Narcissus Scarf, this time round in an orange colourway. Shop everything here.
Over at Louis Vuitton, Pharrell Williams has taken an intriguing direction with the Spring-Summer 2025 Men’s Pre-Collection, centering it around urban dog culture. The collection examines the wardrobe needs of the contemporary dog owner, from morning walks to park meetups. It’s an unexpected lens through which to view luxury fashion, but one that somehow makes perfect sense in Williams’ expanding LVERS universe. Alexa, play Nasty Dog by Sir Mix-a-Lot… No, but do… And pre-order the collection here.
Next, it’s over to Roger Vivier, whose “Vivier Express” series returns with a noir-tinged second episode starring Eva Green. Shot on a luxurious train setting, Green commands the screen in a tailored black suit, paired with striking red suede I Love Vivier heels and the Viv’ Choc bag. Director Nicolangelo Gelormini has crafted something that sits between classic cinema and contemporary fashion film — think Hitchcock meets haute couture. It’s sophisticated, slightly surreal, and rather compelling indeed. Have a watch.
Last but not least, it’s over to the East London purveyors of everything cool, Goodhood. Namely, the concept store has just started stocking Stüssy’s holiday collection. Here at HUNGER, we’re big fans of the pioneering streetwear label, which was born from Shawn Stüssy’s surfboard designs in the ’80s. Nearly forty years on, it’s still as relevant as ever, this latest capsule being a testament to the fact — think classic bombers, mock neck knits and an orange fairisle number that we’ve really got the hots for. This won’t be on the shelves for long, so act quick.
