The Goat — Featuring The North Face

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

The North Face UE’s latest drop is bridging the gap between city streets and mountain peaks. As a capsule, it’s all about bringing the technical credentials to the forefront — think DryVent™ and Pertex® technology as well as 700-fill premium goose down to keep things cosy. The standout pieces? We’ve got our eyes on three in particular. There’s the layering-friendly Down Jacket, the statement-making Handshell Poncho (which is exactly as interesting as it sounds), and the Heavy Weight Mountain Down Jacket — your new best friend when the temperature drops. And whether you’re battling your commute or hitting the trails, the collection’s earth tones make it all feel rather sophisticated. The collection landed on November 7th, meaning you can shop right now. Don’t sleep on this one.

While everyone’s diving into the baggy jeans pool, Nudie Jeans is swimming upstream with Solid Ollie, their fresh take on slim-fit denim. Born from the brand’s punk rock roots, this new silhouette is giving Nudie’s classic slim fit an update for 2024. It’s essentially the roomiest slim in their lineup — perfect for fans of their Lean Dean shape that are seeking something new, or for fans of their Gritty Jackson who want a little more stretch. That’s what is so good about the Solid Ollie, in fact. They’re made of “almost rigid” denim, so you get that structured look while keeping things comfy. Mid-waist, button fly, and built to last — it’s everything you’d expect from the Swedish denim masters who’ve been championing organic materials and proper craftsmanship since 2001. Shop here

Levi’s and CLOT are back at it, this time dipping their entire collaboration in pitch black. It marks the sequel to their first street-meets-heritage offering, taking the form of three pieces that will have you denim heads (a hobby is a hobby) reaching for your wallet. The star of the show, in our humble opinion? A blacked-out version of their UNIONRAIL 501s, complete with those signature RGB paisley stripes down the left leg and rip-and-repair detailing up front. Then there’s the Padded Western Shirt, which does something interesting by mixing cowboy aesthetics with Chinese button designs. Last but certainly not least, there’s the Chinese Button Fastening Hoodie — think heavyweight fleece with traditional fastening details. This collab landed on November 11th, so you’re lucky enough to be able to shop right away.

Fender’s celebrating Hello Kitty’s 50th birthday in proper style, reviving their cult-favourite collaboration with a fresh Stratocaster (that’s a type of guitar) which has got collectors all excited. Following up on their legendary 2005 release, this new guitar comes in either cotton-candy pink or pristine white, complete with Hello Kitty graphics splashed across the pickguard, body, and headstock. They’ve even thrown in a matching padded gig bag because, well, why not? But wait, there’s more — they’ve dropped a Hello Kitty Fuzz pedal (op-amp based, if you’re asking), plus straps, picks, and some seriously covetable apparel. Japan’s getting its own exclusive line too, because of course they are. Shop here. It’s not cheap, but it would earn you serious respect if people spied it nonchalantly leant against a wall at your next afters. It might even get stolen. Imagine that!

Last but not least, it’s over to Kurt Geiger. Their Holiday 2024 collection is going for gold (quite literally) with Emily Ratajkowski fronting a campaign that’s all about supersized glamour. The collection spans everything from bags (the iconic Kensington silhouette is now dripping in mosaic mirrors) to sneakers (gold-dipped, obviously). The guiding principle behind everything? Having a bit of fun with scale. There’s teeny-eeny micro bags and oversized statement ones, as well as glittered-out clutches. Round things out with some art-deco jewellery and crystal-covered boots, and you’ve got yourself a holiday collection that’s doing the most. Shop here
