The Goat — Featuring self-portrait

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

It’s finally autumn — the best time of year for gothic baddies. And what brand caters to the demographic better than Named Collective? In time for the new season, the cult tracksuit brand has a new drop, Glitch. Comprising sixteen pieces, it’s all about cloud-like tracksuits (their comfiest to date, which is saying something), formed of a cropped hoodie and oversized sweatpants. The ‘Glitch’ part comes in via the limited-edition logo, as well as the cute little eyelets and star-shaped studs — you can even pop a carabiner from the release in there to channel your inner performative male. The set (obviously) comes in black but, if you don’t want to go full Halloween-mode yet, it also has pink and baby blue colourways. And, if you’re feeling cheeky, the east-London label has included its second drop of intimates due to popular demand — g-strings complete with charms that spell out ‘Named’. Obsessed.

Next up this week, Apple Martin (yes, that Apple Martin) has officially cemented herself as a nepo-baby to be reckoned with. How, you ask. By becoming the face of London fashion house self-portrait. The daughter of Gwyneth Paltrow and Coldplay’s Chris Martin announced the collaboration via Instagram through a series of self-portraits (the meta energy is strong with this one), marking her first major brand partnership at just twenty. self-portrait, founded by Han Chong in 2013, has built its reputation on Instagram-ready pieces that hit the sweet spot between accessible and aspirational — basically, pretty frocks that photograph beautifully and don’t require a trust fund to afford. The collaboration promises to “evolve and unfold” over the coming months, capturing what they’re calling Martin’s “effortless, confident and self-expressive spirit”. It’s textbook nepo-baby trajectory done right: leverage the family name strategically, partner with a buzzy but credible brand, and let the Gen-Z audience fall in love naturally. The campaign drops soon — probably sometime between Martin’s next Pilates class and *checks notes* debutante ball? That one’s for the hardcore Martin fans.

Sometimes a trip to Brazil is a vibe (*hint hint*, if anyone’s offering…), and sometimes a reset in the British countryside is a vibe. Barbour and FARM Rio have somehow blended the two settings in their debut collaboration. Together, the British and Brazilian fashion houses have come up with three new prints — Pink Tartan, Tropical (read: jaguars, etc.) and Pineapple. Each of the patterns come in a reimagined version of Barber’s classic quilted jacket, a t-shirt and a mini skirt, which can be worn solo or as a statement set. If you’re a colourful kind of gal, it’s possibly the perfect way to bring the last remnants of summer into autumn. And imagine rocking up to a small, countryside village in the full get-up — the locals would have a heart attack. Brillant.

One for the boys here (don’t say we don’t do anything for you). Everyone’s favourite Swedish essentials brand CDLP — the one whose tank top Glen Powell is wearing in that interesting new GQ cover — has done a collaboration with Syria-born, Sweden-raised artist Jwan Yosef. Yosef actually created a capsule with the brand back in 2023, but this time round he and CDLP have introduced sweatshirts, hoodies and heavyweight t-shirts. As you might know, sometimes CDLP likes to drop in a fun new colour to spice things up from the usual neutral palette and, with Yosef, they’ve debuted a fun yet violet shade for the collection’s t-shirts and underwear. It’s seasonal, sleek and suave, and you can’t go wrong. Treat yourself to something on the CDLP site (probably some new pants – you know you need them).

Finishing off with some perfume. Luxury French perfume house Diptyque has rounded off its Les Essences de Diptyque collection with a new scent called Lazulio. Created by perfumer Quentin Bisch and drawing inspiration from “an inexhaustible source of beauty and poetry” (a.k.a. nature), Lazulio is an idyllic autumnal scent, sitting in the olfactory family — okay, thesaurus — of amber and wood. It has plenty of dimension to it, too, featuring notes of rhubarb, citrus and rose. The packing is also super sleek and dreamy, making it perfect for a party-season gift (to yourself).
