Levi’s® and UNDERCOVER are back at it, this time celebrating Jun Takahashi’s label turning 35. This is a nine-piece collection that has by no means just been chucked out. Standouts including the Type II Trucker – which is complete with detachable everything and nods to an UNDERCOVER from back in ‘98 – while the denim’s keeping it premium with selvedge and corduroy options. Best bit? They’ve got Flea from Red Hot Chili Peppers fronting the campaign, shot by his daughter Clara in Malibu. Shop here — this one’s likely to fly out.
First up, if you’re still traipsing around in footwear that’s more on the summery side, we’ve got the perfect thing for you. Look no further than PENNON, who’ve just landed exclusively at The Great Divide, bringing their Korean craftsmanship to the UK for the first time. The brand’s the brainchild of two mates from Seoul — TK, who knows his way around a shoe factory, and Nathan, who brings not just the creative direction, but a decent dose of humour. Their signature style, the HIGH BOOTS LOW, is exactly what it says on the tin. It’s a hiking boot that’s been chopped down but zhuzhed up with Vibram soles and a rather nice multi-lace situation. They also come in three colourways, including a very, very tidy burnished brown. We don’t usually do the whole “run don’t walk” thing, but these are dropping in tiny batches and they’re already catching eyes over in Seoul. Shop here.
If you’re in the market for something a little more delicate footwear-wise, look no further than DAMAYA. Founded by Daniel Amaya back in 2023, they’re relatively new to the game. They are, however, bringing something truly different to the world of luxury shoes. All about merging Italian craftsmanship (you know, the proper stuff) with Latin American street culture, the final products are both statement-making and wearable. Take their recent FW collection — detail-heavy knee-high boots sit alongside skimpy sandals that are doing the whole “barely there” thing in the best way possible. Nothing’s too much, and nothing’s, well, too nothing-y. Have a peruse here.
Dickies is doing up the Lunar New Year a bit differently, taking cues from the Texas rattlesnake rather than your usual motifs. The collection hits that sweet spot between proper workwear and considered design, with the standout piece coming in the form of the IKE jacket. It’s been gradient-washed to look like it’s done a few shifts in the desert and it’s got a clever little snake head detail in the chest pocket. Best of all, the zip pull even doubles as a kind of pendant — that’s nice, isn’t it? The rattlesnake also makes an appearance on their signature double-knee pants, where they’ve added a “snakebite” cut-out detail. After something a little more lowkey? They’ve got a nice array of hoodies and tees. Grab something here.
Last but not least, we’ve got Pandora, who have just made a load of editions to their lab-grown diamonds collection for 2025. If you’re not up on the science, these stones are chemically identical to mined diamonds but grown above ground using 100% renewable energy, meaning each stone has about 95% less carbon footprint than its mine equivalent. The cherry on top? They’re all set in recycled metals. Peruse the whole collection here — we reckon a good way to ring in 2025 is grabbing yourself some new bling.
