First off, Aries and Crocs have brought out their second collaboration and it’s inspired by late-night city strolls — in a gorpcore way, rather than a just-finished-Thursday-drinks-with-the-finance-bros one. The revamped classic clog comes in two colourways: High Shine Black and Dark Algae Green, both of which are giving… wilderness. A little confusing for the city theme but, we reckon, a literal take on urban jungle, which is actually quite clever if you think about it. The best part of the collab, however, are the Jibbitz charms. Think: fallen autumn leaves, coins and magic mushrooms that evoke the kind of urban treasures you might collect wandering through London Fields after dark. The campaign imagery is also a sight to behold. Shot by cult photographer Kuba Ryniewicz with styling by Julian Ganio, it perfectly captures that gritty-meets-city aesthetic that Aries does so well. There’s also a crocodile’s head.

Charli xcx and Converse Chuck Taylor’s have a love that goes back even further than that with the artist’s new husband, George Daniel. So it’s about time that the pair do a collab. From 5 August, Converse are dropping an exclusive version of their Chucks in a few grungy colourways, complete with worn-in details to match the BRAT singer’s own much-loved pairs (and yes, she did have a hand in the design process). The zhuzhed-up Chucks also come with a lock-and-key heel charm that alludes to xcx’s 2017 track ‘Unlock It’ (although keys come up in a slightly different way throughout BRAT, too…) Oh, and the shoot was done by Petra Collins, so extra cool points for that.

Most of the fashion we cover on HUNGER is, understandably, for humans. But we make the rules and we want to spotlight Nuggyz. What is that, you ask? Only the pet spin-off of luxury jewellery brand Nuggets & Karats. For their launch, the former’s founder, Erika Galvez, has partnered with Julian Prolman (the guy who headed up art and fashion for Madonna’s recent Celebration Tour) to create eighteen-karat gold-plated letter pendants. Gothic font. Pet owners can buy them to spell out their pet’s name, or even write a word-slash-phrase of choice, like ‘my cat is better than yours’ (said cat might need a very fat neck for that one, though).

In London we can admittedly be a bit lazy with our going-out clothes. That’s where we can take a leaf out of the New Yorkers’ book. One brand catering for that is LaPointe, which has just unveiled its Resort ’26 collection. It’s a reminder that sometimes you don’t need a grand ol’ occasion to wear feathers, sequins or swathes of faux fur — speaking of which, take a look at the fur and denim trench below and try to tell us you don’t want it this autumn. Exactly.

Last up, we’ve got a new flavour of ice cream on the block — by that, we mean ICECREAM has finally launched a womenswear collection. Hoorah! For AW25, the brand is continuing with its characteristic skate culture theme seen in its previous menswear clothing but with a girly, kitsch element to it. More explicitly, the baby tees, houndstooth cardigans and fitted denim hark back to the pop energy of the early 2000s, while the likes of the pink caps and bralettes offer a cute, feminised version of ICECREAM’s street-meets-sport aesthetic. And to celebrate its foray into womenswear, the brand has got Barcelona-based rapper (and Charli xcx collaborator) Bb Trickz to model it all. Delish.
