This Gucci highlighter has got the glow

Everyone wants to look snow-kissed in winter and, ideally, a cluster of glistening snowflakes would land on our cheeks every time we stepped outside. But that’s not really realistic, is it? That’s where the old adage of ‘fake it ‘til you make it’ comes in. Enter: Gucci Glow Highlighter. With five pearlescent shades to choose from, the formula uses actual light-capturing technology to emulate that winter glow.

But how, you ask? Well, the product itself comes in a powder-gel texture, which is infused with a high concentration of pearls that reflect light. Not only that, but the highlighter has a genuinely hydrating feel, too, making your skin glow in an even more natural way. Alternatively – since the product’s buildable – you can layer it on the eyes, cheek, nose or lips for a more extreme frosted look.

There’s also a bit of a deeper element behind the design of the Gucci Glow Highlighter. Apparently, the pearls are designed to produce an effect that sparks creativity. And that’s only heightened by the product’s decidedly playful shade range,  which spans lilac to gold. Pop the highlighter on top of Gucci Beauty’s Éternité de Beauté foundation (also chosen for its luminosity) and you’re good to – cough cough – glow.
