The Goat — Featuring DISCOTHÈQUE

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

First up, some much-needed comfort for the start of the cosy season. You might recall that Dr. Martens’ Zebzag sole made its grand debut this summer with those viral mules. Well, the British bootmakers have now given their cushioned wonder-sole the full treatment with two proper boot silhouettes for autumn. The first is the Zebzag Laceless. It’s basically the laid-back cousin of Dr. Marten’s iconic 1460s, who couldn’t be bothered with laces but still wants to look the part. Then there’s the Zebzag Rigger, which channels industrial vibes but also has the same slip-on ease. All the stompy stylishness of the Docs we know and love without the fiddliness. Lovely. Check them out here.

If you thought certified it-girl brand Peachy Den couldn’t get any better, think again. The London-born brand has served up their AW25 collection and it’s channeling chic but sultry ’70s style — think: Anita Pallenberg energy with a side of Marianne Faithfull attitude. We’re talking sharp tailoring meets soft, exuberant textures, and enough moody animal print to make you feel backstage at a Rolling Stones gig (including the Cecily Set, which is inspired by Brigitte Bardot’s ‘sex-kitten’ energy. Ooer). Oh, and look no further for your winter coat because the metal-clasped Patti Coat is quite literally everything you need for AW25. Feast your eyes here.

Leave it to DISCOTHÈQUE to make scent sampling as cheeky as possible. The LA-London brand has come out with perhaps the best handbag scents of all time — and not just because of the way they smell, but because each sample is shaped like a condom packet. A very chic one, if that’s possible (it is). Inside this tongue-in-cheek accessory, you’ll find a 2ml fragrance sample — complete with “for your pleasure” tagline — letting you test drive the scents before committing to a full bottle. You can purchase the minis in packs of five, or they’re redeemable against any full-sized purchase, so you get a voucher code once you’ve had your fun. I don’t know quite how DISCOTHÈQUE makes fragrance feel like a cheeky night out, but it hits (double-entendre definitely intended) every time. Grab yours here.

Stop, pause and take a deep breath because the next inclusion is all about serenity. If you recall the cult minimalist brand Cold Laundry, created by Ola Alabi — which was designed to help people ‘escape the noise’ with calming pastel-hued hoodies — well, Alabi is back with a second label, By Ola. After closing Cold Laundry and spending time traveling Asia (plus becoming a father of two), Ola’s teamed up with fellow designer Ben Ikanade-Agba. Their debut collection, We Came, We Saw, We Loved, is all about thoughtful design — soothing shades, naturally-molding shapes and sumptuous textures. Drawing inspiration from human behavior and created from “a place of stillness”, the collection embodies Cold Laundry’s simplicity but with a more mature spin. See for yourself here.

Cats and Louis Vuitton — I’ll hold my breath until you can name a better combination. Following on from the maison’s 2019 Catogram collection, Vuitton has teamed up with Grace Coddington, the legendary fashion editor known for her feline obsession, for a collection inspired by her cats Blondie, Blanket and Jimi’s imaginary adventures to Sydney, the Amazon and even space. Pieces-wise, the launch features midi dresses with exclusive mice and cats motifs, chic pyjamas that will make you feel like you’re staying at quirky (but very fancy) boutique hotel, and a showstopper secretary trunk complete with a removable easel, paintbrush drawers and, naturally, a special nook for Coddington’s cats. Obsessed. Explore the collection here.

Last up, we’ve got a new face gracing Calvin Klein’s underwear campaigns — GRAMMY-winning Spanish artist Rosalía. Shot by photographer Carlijn Jacobs, the Fall 2025 campaign showcases CK’s latest innovations with “bold sensuality and surreal visual storytelling” (basically, Rosalía looks incredible). As for the innovations themselves, there’s the new Icon Cotton Modal line with its stitch-free waistbands, Heritage Cotton styles with a vintage logo twist and the Perfectly Fit bra collection. Rosalía actually said Calvin Klein underwear has been “a staple in my wardrobe for years”, so this feels like a natural fit rather than just another celeb endorsement. But even if it was, we’d still be into it. Shop it here.
