Who. What. Where? No. 102

We couldn’t kick things off this week without honouring London Fashion Week, could we? Punk-inspired designer John Richmond is returning to the birthplace of his brand to showcase his AW25 collection. Exhibiting at the Tate Modern on 22 February, it’s set to include the same fusion of luxury and rebellion that Richmond first drew from the ’80s club culture. Find out more here — and register for the after-party here, if you fancy it.

It’s not punk, but we do have some music to put on your radar. Muni Long (the same one who nabbed herself a second Grammy a few weeks back) has a new track called “Slow Grind”. It’s been a pretty good year for the R&B artist already — on top of four Grammy nominations and the win, she’s also been named Billboard’s Rising Star for 2025. Listen to “Slow Grind” here.

Here’s one for the make-up lovers — NARS (my own holy-grail make-up brand) has opened an interactive pop-up in Covent Garden to celebrate its best-selling Light Reflecting Foundation and Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation. Dubbed The Players’ Lounge, it includes a giant chess board with life-size foundation bottles as chess pieces, a billiards room inspired by their Radiant Creamy Concealer and a cards zone dedicated to blush. You can also get colour-matched by experts and enjoy a complimentary hot drink. Plus, if you win any of the games, you’ll win poker chips that you can exchange for a NARS prize. It’s only open from 22 to 23 February, so mark your calendars.

Over in Shoreditch, the Seed Library – the baby of ultra bartender Mr Lyan – has a brand new cocktail menu. If their drinks weren’t banging enough already, they’re even better now. There are more Lyan classics on the menu — and they’ve even got a bellini garnished with a piece of crispy bacon and sweetie egg. Cute as heck. Book a table here.

Next, we’ve got one for the art fanatics. LA-based artist Tianyue Zhong has come from across the pond to showcase her solo exhibition, Between Earth and Tide, at the Ibf Contemporary. The ten-piece collection has a bit of a philosophical feel, dipping into memory, sensory experiences and the ever-moving nature of time. The Royal College of Art graduate’s oil-paint Gambols (artworks that explore movement and energy to us mere mortals) are a treat for the eyes, so get yourself down to the Ibf after 21 February to take a look.

We’ve also got some photography for you — The Face Magazine: Culture Shift is happening at The National Portrait Gallery from 20 February to 18 May. It’s got all the early shots of musicians and models from the ’80s, ’90s and noughties who ended up making it big. And, amongst them, are pics by photographers like David Sims and Corinne Day, who played a key role in redefining fashion photography. Grab a ticket here.

Last up, we have a special concert series taking place at the Royal Albert Hall. The line-up is a rather diverse one, spanning the Sex Pistols’ Glen Matlock to The Who and The Corrs. It even includes a night with GK Barry (not a concert, but we’ll allow it). And it’s all for a really great cause as the week-long spectacle is put on by the Teenage Cancer Trust. It’s not actually happening until 24 to 30 March, but you’ll need to get tickets in advance — find them here.
