Who. What. Where? No. 101

First up, we’ve got something for the fashion and art fans. British brand Marfa Stance and powerhouse artist Mickalene Thomas have taken Stance’s signature rain coat and hood, and turned them into wearable limited-edition art pieces. And when we say limited, we mean it — there are only fifty up for grabs. But, we hear you ask, why are we featuring this in WWW? Well, fresh off the back of this, Thomas is making her UK solo debut with All About Love at the Hayward Gallery, where she’s displaying a series of large-scale paintings celebrating the beauty of Black women. This is the same woman whose art has featured on Solange album covers and Dior runways, so you’re going to want to check it out. Get a ticket here — and grab yourself a coat and hood while you’re at it.
Next, we have something for the last-minute romantics. Goodhood is joining forces with the floral wizards at SAGE for a gorgeous Valentine’s pop-up. Mark your calendars for 13 and 14 February because their Hanbury Street store is stocking a specially-curated Valentine’s edit, as well as exclusive bouquets that’ll make you want to chuck those Sainos roses in the bin. Trust us, if you’re looking to score some serious points this V Day, this is your moment. Pop down to 15 Hanbury Street and thank us later. Want to pre-order? No problemo — order online here and pick them up at Goodhood at your own convenience.
Here’s one for the stressed-out city dwellers (*cough* us at HUNGER as we catapult towards print deadlines). Off-grid cabin company Unyoked has been doing their thing and dropping a host of new locations. We’re talking serious wilderness vibes, but still only a couple of hours from the city — we’re not Bear Grylls, are we? Think crackling fires, CDs (lurvly and vintage) and absolutely zero chance of your boss finding you. Bliss. Get away from those emails and bag yourself a slice of sweet, sweet solitude here.

In the same vein, we want to put you onto something. Beauty brand Herbar is hosting its first-ever Traditional Chinese Medicine retreat. Hear us out, we’re not quacks, okay? It’s simply a combination of natural R&R, a swish hotel (the Parkhotel Mondschein hotel to be precise) and a lush view of the Italian Alps. What more could you want? We’re talking the full works here, too — acupuncture, healthy feasts and workshops on everything from ear seeding to moxibustion. It’s taking place from 21 to 23 March, but we’re giving you the heads-up early as spots are super limited. Sign up here.
Rounding things off, we’ve got something for you that’s hot off the press. Little Simz has just been announced as the curator for the thirtieth edition of the Southbank Centre’s Meltdown festival. And she’s headlining. It might not be happening until 12 June, but we’re buzzing to see which acts the “WE PRAY” singer will bring to the eleven-day event. Simz has come a long way from handing out her mixtapes on the street, hasn’t she? Mark your calendars, everyone.
