Louis Vuitton has opened an ephemeral townhouse hotel in Mayfair

Louis Vuitton has dedicated the past year to celebrating the 130th anniversary of its emblematic Monogram. A series of campaigns spotlighting classic LV bags like the Speedy and the Neverfull has culminated in the announcement of a Louis Vuitton townhouse in the heart of Mayfair, open for a limited time only.
As with all the campaigns in this series, the townhouse centres the brand’s most iconic bags featuring the Monogram, with each immersive room being inspired by and named after one of them. Guests enter through the Keepall Lobby, named after the original 1930s travel companion. The second floor Speedy Room is an illuminated hotel room filled with the original Speedy bags, leading into the Speedy P9 Safe Room, inspired by Men’s Creative Director Pharell Williams’ take on the silhouette. Drenched in metallic gold, it’s a true luxury hideaway.

Café Alma takes inspiration from the Parisian Art Deco movement, and is a luxurious environment for indulging in afternoon tea and patisseries. Heading to the lower ground floor for a nightcap, you’ll find the Noé bar, named after the bag crafted with the sole intention of carrying five bottles of the bubbly nectar. Alongside champagne and cocktails, guests can enjoy late night DJ sets, making it the ultimate boujee Mayfair destination.
After a night of over-indulging, it’s only natural to want to sweat out the toxins in the gym, so it’s lucky Louis Vuitton has thought of everything. Named after the Neverfull bag, which can hold up to 100 kilograms, the gym highlight is the mirrored weight rack area, perfect for taking pictures of your post-gym pump.
Of course, no hotel stay is complete without a spa, but the Louis Vuitton hotel interprets that a little differently. The Care Services area is a space for your Louis Vuitton pieces to enjoy a little R&R after all that hard work carrying your travel items in. The pieces can be restored with LV craftsmanship, and even personalised with limited hot-stamping patches. We’ll take designer bag badges over passport stamps any day.
The hotel is open for a limited time only between April and June, so make sure to pay a visit while you can. Book in here.
