Adidas Spezial have linked up with C.P. Company and the campaign is a proper Brit-fest

The short film released to go alongside the collab of all collabs features the likes of Stephen Graham and Goldie.

The best (and perhaps only) way to ring in Adidas Spezial’s 10th birthday? A naughty little collab with C.P. Company, the Italian sportswear brand that’s become a staple of British subcultures. Not only have they created six new silhouettes of the shoe, but a 90-second flick starring all the cult-y British icons that are fronting the campaign: This is England actor (and HUNGER cover star) Stephen Graham, legendary jungle DJ Goldie, Top Boy actor (and So Solid Crew alumni) Ashley Walters, graphic designer Robert Brooksy (who’s an OG Adidas collector), as well as jeweller Toby Mclellan, who includes rapper Casisdead amongst his fans.

Despite the collab’s Italian flair, it’s a campaign that puts what it means to be a Brit front and centre, with the short continuing that. Directed by Nick Griffiths – it was photographer Kevin Cummins that shot all the campaign pics you’ve probably seen on your Instagram feed – the short manages to squeeze in a whole lot in a minute and a half. Of course there’s those obligatory moody shots of the campaign’s stars sculking through some typically British settings, but there’s also Goldie doing a spot of charcoal drawing, Walters and Graham doing a modern interpretation of Shakespeare, as well as Brooksy and McLellan having a good ol’ British chinwag. Have a watch below.

Fancy copping a bit of the collab, too? It would be hard not to after watching that. Shop here
