Topshop’s Catskills collection is a cosy season must-have

The brand’s AW25 collection proves its resurgence is in full seasonal swing.

Topshop’s revival has only proven its undisputed title as the official go-to for the cosy season. In the wake of the 2010s having their resurgence, and the superpower of winter that is layering, their newest collection positions the fashion house at the season’s forefront.

Catskills is a collection dedicated to texture and contrast, combining all the latest trends to create an ensemble of evolving contemporary style. Darker, minimalistic tones meet hints of preppy embellishments, such as argyle-printed knitwear styled with satin skirts and lace-trimmed slip dresses draped across the hem of wide-leg barrel jeans, creating a harmonious fusion of ’90s nostalgia with modern tailoring.

Catskills is the first collection so far by Topshop to possess a unique edge, exemplified by its inclusion of materials that effortlessly exude luxury: faux fur, shearling, suede and plush velvets – helping to define its quality, grounded by the use of warm neutrals such as chestnut accents and chicory browns, enhanced with a range of woodland greens and blues for Topshop’s signature flair of vigour.

Whether it is the coloured thread reminiscent of the Catskills landscape that weaves into each design, or the unwavering warmth it radiates both physically and visually, Topshop continues to prove itself through its newfound sophistication, further strengthened by its seasonal dimensionality.
