The Goat — Featuring UGG x sacai

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

One of the best things about autumn is getting your UGGs out again (IYKYK), so it’s quite literally the perfect time for this collaboration between UGG and sacai. It’s the second time the Japanese brand has teamed up with UGG, and, for this collection, it’s all about embodying an edgy, high-fashion spin that’s got me extremely excited. Having debuted at AW25 Paris Fashion Week Men’s, sacai’s designer and creative director Chitose Abe, has twisted the world’s comfiest shoes into distorted silhouettes that are infinitely cool. The standout has to be the thigh-high boot, which features buckles along the back and which you can wear two ways — either fully buckled all the way up your leg, or folded over to show off the sheepskin lining. There’s also a chunky loafer and a sleek hiker boot in the collection, both featuring the same suede-and-shearling combination that sacai does so well. Just dreamy. Check it out here.

Next, Agent Provocateur has bagged the ultimate it-girl, Julia Fox, for its AW25 campaign. The underwear brand is all about confidence and a slightly edgy take on femininity, which is why Fox is the perfect woman for the job. Shot by Greg Williams at The Manner Hotel in SoHo, New York, the campaign channels glossy ’90s glamour with a Helmut Newton-inspired edge (he’s a photographer, guys), showcasing opulent undies, such as the vintage-inspired Nelle range and the timeless Mercy bustier. If you’re wondering what Fox’s favourite pieces are, though, they’re the Penelopi and Rozlyn sets (you’re welcome). ‘Foxy’ has a new meaning so it seems… Shop the collection here.

Another brilliant drop from this week is Aries’ AW25 collection. Split into four capsules — Hardcore DIY, Cult of Varsity, All-American Underground and Bizarre Bourgeoisie — it’s all about blending classical styles with something a little bit mad. Take all the bright red leopard print or the faux fur scarves sporting a cartoon duck pattern, for example. It’s Aries doing what Aries does best — making clothes that would ordinarily feel novelty into a very wearable fashion statement. Have a browse here.

Going back to celebrity-inspired fashion for a moment — this season is all about the pinky rings. Though I might like to think I started this trend after inadvertently ordering a ring that would only fit on my little finger, it’s actually Bella Hadid, Emily Ratajkowski and the like who’ve got the internet buzzing about these teeny tiny rings. So, of course, The Promise Co. adhered to the demand. The British jewellery brand, which became known for modernising the ‘promise ring’ tradition, has brought out a stunning collection of pinky rings for your enjoyment. Styles range from a unisex signet to a pair-shaped solitaire à la Ms Ratajkowski, though, rest assured, they’re only a fraction of the price. Treat yourself to one here. I know you want to.

Finally, it’s pretty much illegal to not include some trainers in The Goat, so… Japanese-inspired sneaker brand Flower Mountain and London-based menswear designer Nicholas Daley have finally dropped their highly anticipated collaboration. Combining Daley’s signature style (think: natural materials and lots of detailing) and Flower Mountain’s outdoor-inspired aesthetic, the collab manifests in a shoe that’s sustainable and very Daley in style. On the sustainability front, they’re made from recycled Japanese nylon and natural waxed cotton. Style-wise, it’s very Daley — tartan, herringbone, brass. Lastly, the trainers come in two colourways, Navy and Green-Brown, and are both available in unisex sizing. Grab a pair here.
