Spice Girls icon Melanie C has welcomed the new year in style, performing on Sydney Harbour Bridge on New Year’s Eve in a bespoke Palm Angels ensemble created especially for the occasion.
The custom look, styled by Graham Cruz, fuses Palm Angels’s streetwear aesthetic with the former Sporty Spice’s trademark athletic style. The outfit wasn’t without some seasonal glitz however, featuring intricate rhinestone embellishments designed to shine under the harbour lights as the clock struck midnight.
It’s the first custom piece Palm Angels has created for the friend of the house, representing a natural evolution for their relationship. The collaboration brought together high-fashion streetwear sensibility with the dynamism of live performance during one of the world’s most-watched New Year’s Eve celebrations.
