Martine Rose just revealed her wildest Nike collab yet
Martine Rose made her debut at Milan Fashion Week yesterday, and she certainly made a splash. The eponymous label unveiled its Spring/Summer 2025 collection, complete with prosthetic noses, ankle-grazing hair, and, of course, a fresh new Nike collaboration.
In clips shared on social media, the British designer was seen tearing up following her first showcase on Italian soil, while those in attendance chanted in celebration. It’s no surprise there was so much emotion in the room, as Rose’s collection marked one of the standout moments at MFW.
The British designer challenged conventional beauty standards with enlarged prosthetic noses and knotted hip-length wigs. “The Spring/Summer 2025 collection is dedicated to expressions of beauty spawned from the likes of disturbance, humour, and sex,” the show notes read. Meanwhile, Rose’s trademark sport-inspired looks made a return, alongside printed tops and cascading satins, with models strutting down the upcycled runway in structural garments that are both fragile and powerful through strong-shouldered tailoring.
However, part of the excitement of a Martine Rose show is guessing what footwear collaboration we’ll see next. Previously, the designer has revealed her own take on Nike Shox as well as Clarks, and this time we were treated once again. The collection unveiled her next collaboration with a single pair of Nikes featuring football-inspired double tongues, shiny mudguards, and a crisp white Swoosh.
The kicks strongly resemble the newly unveiled Nike Air Max Tiempo, a hybrid of the classic TN and the legendary noughties football boot, the Tiempo. While nothing has been confirmed yet, it would make total sense for Rose to be the first collaborator for the new silhouette, as the designer often draws inspiration from the world of football (who could forget her sleek football jerseys?).
Simultaneously, fresh Clarks shoes joined “Local Hero” baseball caps and chic handbags as standout accessories of Martine Rose SS25, including those Nikes.
