’90s video games. MMA. Counterculture. Could the new collab between PUMA and Aries get any cooler? Probably not. It’s the second time the brands are joining forces (remember their AW24 drop centred around skeletons?) and, this time round, the inspo is equally as niche and equally as eye-catching. The clothing itself sits somewhere between sports and streetwear — it ranges from a towelled hoodie and shorts set to the dress equivalent to a MMA outfit. There’s even accessories in the drop, including baseball caps and duffle bags. The star product, however, has to be the new iteration of the Mostro sneakers, which first launched back in 1999 and are now seeing a lace and leather twist. Those aren’t dropping until June, though, so you’ll have to keep your eyes peeled. The rest of the collection launched yesterday.

Elsewhere in fashion, Korean fashion label OPEN YY has just dropped their Summer ’25 collection, which really taps into Lana Del Ray’s sad-girl summer energy because it’s all about nostalgia. More specifically, it’s inspired by founders Jiyoung and Boyoung Kim’s experience of yearning for home comforts. The way they’ve embodied that is actually through nostalgic American motifs, such as the ol’ college baseball aesthetic, oversized t-shirts that evoke carefree childhood days and little embroidery anglaise knits, which make you feel like you’re going on a date to a drive-in cinema or something. There’s also plenty of cute little accessories and even swimwear pieces to really complete the romanticising-simpler-days vision. The second drop of the collection is today, so don’t miss it.

It’s no secret that this summer is about over-accessorising and letting your personality shine — just look at the Labubus that seem to be hanging off everyone’s bags. Well, Louis Vuitton has launched a luxury version, which they’ve dubbed Mon Monogram. While it’s no secret that you’ve been able to get your initials popped onto a Neverfull for a while (2008 to be precise), now, you can put your own spin on a whole range of accessories from luggage cases to passport cases — choice of type faces, colours, stripes and patches. It’s giving cute and fun, and we’re here for it.

Something else that’s fun and cute 27 87’s Hakuna Matata perfume (yes, we don’t just do fashion over here). It’s probably as playful as a perfume can get and it’s all about sparking joy through scent — love. Note-wise there are hints of honey, jasmine, vanilla, bergamot and orange flower — plus one key (and possibly surprising) ingredient, banana. Yes, it’s a little unconventional but, if you think about it, banana is actually perfect for channelling the positive, cheeky vibes and that’s what summer is all about, isn’t it?

Remember those Skunkded jeans that went viral on TikTok? From that brand that basically got Soho shut down when thousands of teenagers went feral over their pop-up? Well, that streetwear brand (aka Poser) is doing a re-release of its original Skunkded collection due to very, very popular demand. It’s quite a special one since it’s an ode to the organic, community-led clout that took Poser from being a bedroom brand — launched by founder Alfie Edwards on the last day of his GCSEs(!) — to a legitimate leader in the streetwear scene. Better set up a Poser account ASAP or they’ll be gone before you know it.
