Dior Beauty’s holiday make-up collection has landed with a circus-themed campaign

Brand ambassadors Anya Taylor-Joy and Deva Cassell take to the circus for Dior Beauty's new holiday make-up collection.

A starry night, a circus tent and Anya Taylor-Joy joining Deva Cassell centre stage. This isn’t the trailer for an upcoming fantasy film; it’s the campaign for Dior Beauty’s new holiday make-up collection. Capturing the magical spirit of Christmas, the Circus of Dreams campaign video takes viewers into a spellbinding world of beauty. The first of the Dior ambassadors, Taylor-Joy, commands the ring as Mistress of Ceremony, while Cassell takes on the role of fortune teller, peering into her crystal ball and painted in a stunning ‘Plum Look’ — deep, theatrical purples courtesy of Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup.

After fire-eaters, acrobats and jugglers take to the stage, the attention is turned to a more traditional type of Christmas magic: gifts. Under the starry tent, Dior Beauty’s most coveted offerings steal the show. Iconic fragrances like J’adore, Miss Dior and Sauvage reveal their intoxicating scents, while the Prestige skincare line promises an exceptional sensory ritual. Make-up creations in every shade imaginable join the festivities, forming their own colourful parade. The Circus of Dreams is the pinnacle of the brand’s essence — luxurious and joyful, sophisticated yet playful.

Outside the circus, the campaign’s enchantment is transported into the holiday collection itself. Set in limited-edition star-studded packaging, it includes new Diorshow 5 Couleurs palettes comprising all the shades needed to re-create Philips’ especially-designed Fiery and Plum looks. The iconic Rouge Dior sequin finish has also returned with a new double-sided version to emphasise both glitter and shine. And for the skin, there’s the Dior Forever Glow Maximizer 001 Abracadadior and Dior Forever Glow Luminizer 001 Dior Star, to bring out that holiday glow.

The campaign also incorporates the brand’s annual beauty advent calendar. Once again taking the shape of the maison’s most iconic Paris boutique, the calendar is decorated with golden stars, flipping acrobats and intricately-painted circus scenes. The theme continues into the treats themselves: twenty-four of Dior Beauty’s luxury products, both new and classic, including the new Piste aux Étoiles Christmas candle, gold nail polish and Dior Prestige La Crème in star-studded packaging.

It’s the type of collection that makes you feel like you’re the one in the spotlight — the mistress of your own miniature, magical circus.
