The Goat — Featuring The North Face

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

First up, we have a new iteration of The North Face’s classic Mountain Jacket to celebrate the garm’s fortieth anniversary. It’s launched in collaboration with BRIT Award-winning artist Griff, and comes as part of a capsule collection made with the “Vertigo” singer. The vibe? A colourful spin on the OG jacket, while incorporating the brand’s Dryvent Mono technology. Since its 1985 introduction, the Mountain Jacket has been a cornerstone of high-tech outerwear and cultural relevance. Case in point? Collabs with the likes of Supreme, MM6 Maison Margiela and KAWS and, now, Griff. Take a gander here.

Elsewhere, Billionaire Boys Club has just dropped their revamped Classics collection for Pre-Spring 2025, and it’s exactly what your transitional wardrobe needs. The weather-apt lineup includes smart fabric choices and understated pastels that honour spring without getting too ahead of itself (summer is still miles away, guys). It’s also properly versatile — think lightweight bombers, quarter zips and hoodies sporting that new stitch logo (the one Giggs was rocking pre-Christmas), as well as tracksuits, windbreakers and puffers. Shop the collection here.

Over in footwear, HOKA just dropped their Bondi 9 sneakers, which are honestly changing the cushion game for all you runners out there. The Bondi style first dropped in 2011 but this new variation comes with upgrades like a lighter sole, more resilient materials and extra breathability. They’re also scientifically manufactured for enhanced stability when you’re wracking up the km’s. Grab yourself a pair here.

On a different side of the accessories world, Louis Vuitton has launched the undeniable it-girl bag of the season. From the brain of Nicolas Ghesquière, the artistic director of womenswear, the LV Biker very much hits that sweet spot between tough and luxe — think classic biker jacket vibes but elevated to LV standards. It comes in a host of different colourways to suit whatever your vibe is, as well as three sizes. The bag’s already been spotted on Blackpink’s Lisa and Saoirse Ronan, so that says it all, really. Check it out here.

Over in headwear, American cap company New Era has just linked with British rap star Central Cee and his Syna World brand for their new drop. The collection features two fire 59FIFTY caps (one grey camo, one black), elevated with rose gold accents and custom badges — it’s actually the first time New Era have broken tradition and switched their gold visor sticker for the rose alternative. Fancy. Other details include embroidery that alludes to Cee’s new album, Can’t Rush Greatness, and metallic stitching that harks back to one of the rapper’s childhood caps. Grab one here.

Last up, we have Korean footwear brand Pennon’s Urban Trail Boot. Following on from Merrell and Salomon’s appropriation by city dwellers, they’re a new outside shoe specifically designed with urbanites in mind. Made in a black colourway, they’re perfect for unpredictable weather and personal styling alike, meanwhile the hiking clasps and chunky rope laces give an added je ne sais quoi. The boots also have supportive soles for comfort when you’re on the go — ideal. Check them out here
