The Goat — Featuring Rombaut x CH4RM

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

It’s co-ord season, baby, and no one does it better than London-born brand With Nothing Underneath. If you’re not familiar, WNU was created by former Vogue stylist Pip Durell after becoming fed up with how rubbish women’s tailoring is. The result is a brand with the expertise of traditional men’s tailoring carried over into women’s essentials. The summer range, then, is about co-ords that you can wear together or mix and match. Each colourway comes in a shirt, shorts and skirt or trouser variety, making for perfect holiday staples that you can chuck into your case when you inevitably don’t know what to pack. The summer range also has some super cute linen dresses, as well as an embroidered mini-collection made in collaboration with English textile artist and designer Bellamy Jean. The vibes transport you to lounging by the pool in Provence but the good thing is, most of this stuff is work-appropriate, so you can still feel summery even if you’re chained to your desk.

Next, some beauty. Louis Vuitton is celebrating the first anniversary of its LVERS fragrance — the olfactory love child of Pharrell Williams and Master Perfumer Jacques — with a metal makeover. The brand has dropped a limited-edition copper flacon that’s so luxurious you probably won’t be able to get one (more on that later). The scent itself is pretty magical, and is based on the idea of bottled sunlight. What that actually means is a combination of galbanum, cedarwood, sandalwood, bergamot and ginger. But here’s where it gets really exciting — each of these anniversary edition bottles are totally unique because they’re made in handmade wax moulds, paying homage to the ancient lost-wax casting techniques. And the copper isn’t just for show either — it links to how LV have been using copper in their trunks since the 1800s, while also playing into that whole sun-powered, energising concept. The twist? There’s only thirty bottles available worldwide in selected stores, so it’s a bit of a mission to get your hands on one. Good luck.

We usually reserve The Goat for fashion, but we thought we’d make an exception and add a goated bit of music this week. We’re always here for artists who refuse to be boxed in, and GoldLink’s return with ENOCH is exactly that. Three years since his last album, HARAM, the Washington DC-based rapper is back with a twelve-tracker that’s basically a love letter to global dance culture — think Jersey club meets Afrobeats meets UK garage. The whole project feels like it was born from countless nights in clubs around the world and, as a result, it’s going to make you want to get on your feet. Plus, GoldLink is taking this party on the road with an extensive European tour kicking off this September. But for now, you can listen to ENOCH here.

We all know Rombaut for its accessories (remember its recent collaboration with Puma?) Well, the Paris-based brand has been expanding into other areas recently, leading to the launch of some sick ready-to-wear apparel. And now, for the first time, it’s brought out swimwear in collaboration with Y2K-inspired brand CH4RM. A capsule collection of just two bikinis and two briefs, the drop is very much about quality over quantity, and they’ve done a brilliant job of it we have to say. The idea is that the swimwear is ‘designed to move with you whether you’re lounging seaside or getting muddy’. While the campaign imagery is shot in a barn, we’re probably taking that as going to festivals — the sun logo makes the swimwear a statement fashion piece, so it’s definitely cool enough to be worn as clothes. And at least you know these swimsuits are suitable to ride horses or frolic in the hay in, if that’s your thing.
