The Goat — Featuring Max Mara

Welcome to HUNGER’s The Goat, where we let you in on all the hottest drops and new releases. Less hype, more the things you actually need on your radar.

In the era where sustainability and slowing down the trend cycle is cool, we love nothing more than seeing the revival of a classic; not only because we love seeing a new interpretation, but because it reminds us to dust off the originals we have tossed into the back of our wardrobes. Whilst I personally don’t have a 2007 Stella McCartney Dartmoor bag collecting dust in my IKEA flatpack, this only gives me all the more reason to pine for one of the 2026 Dartmoor iterations instead. For this spring, the Dartmoor collection is re-imagined in recycled ECONYL, so the pieces still retain the ’00s It-girl silhouettes and oversized monogram bag charms, only sleeker and more sustainable. Noughties vibes without the noughties waste. The iconic night-out companion Crossbody and Shoulder Bag are now both available in ECONYL, alongside a new addition to the collection. The Crossbody Camera Bag is just the right size for your OG Nikon Coolpix (now this I do have in my wardrobe), because what’s a Y2K aesthetic without a camera to catch it? Pics or it didn’t happen.

Shoemaker KEEN is turning things on its head with the introduction of the UNEEK 360 shoe. It takes all the best loved-features from the original UNEEK collections: recycled composition, anti-odour technology, and of course the free-moving cords that are as much of a style statement as they are a mark of comfort. And they’re completely glue-free, making them even more eco-friendly. Instead of using traditional solvents, the whole thing is bound together by cords that wrap 360 degrees around the sole and replace traditional laces. Clever. The shoe comes in two minimalistic colourways: earth toned Birch/Roasted Pecan and all black, making it the perfect minimalistic addition to your gorpcore collection. Set to release later today, you can check out the rest of the UNEEK collection here

In a complete vibe-switch 180, Max Mara’s SS26 campaign might be shot in an outdoor setting, but the vibe is much more Wuthering Heights than it is windy hikes. It’s set in a moody, dreamlike rococo landscape, complete with gothic bouquets, ethereal murals and fog rolling in. In the centre of the shots, model Mia Armstrong (and her ginormous eyebrows) are a complete juxtaposition to the scene unfolding behind her. She poses on a series of increasingly dishevelled chairs in pristine Max Mara couture, and though the pieces take elements from the autumn-staple trench coat, they’re reworked to fit the season. Think button-down maxi dresses with short, organza sleeves and cropped trench blazers dressed down with tutus. The collection’s neutral colour palette stands out as super chic against the lush backdrop. Check it out here.

When it comes to luxury jewellery, the selling point of a piece is usually the bling factor: how bright it sparkles, how many carats it has, whether it’s lab grown or mined. But TASAKI’s latest collection is here to prove that diamonds aren’t a girl’s best friend; metal is. The latest extension of the Japanese jeweller’s balance collection swaps traditional statement stones for crafted metal spheres. The collection comes in yellow, white and the brand’s trademark SAKURAGOLD (a dusky pink metal), and is made up of rings with three and five spheres. They’ve also introduced a new silhouette for the extension, the danger horn plus which molds all three metals in fork-like points around the finger. You can browse the metal collection alongside its pearl predecessor here.

Finally, Louis Vuitton has announced that it’s dropping a part two of its Spring menswear offer to compliment the in-store selections. Ever since it appointed Pharrell Williams as Men’s Creative Director in 2023, the House’s collections have seen a significant move towards wearability and versatility, creating ‘Blurred Lines’ between tailoring and sportswear. The latest capsule is no different, utilising core House colours (blacks, earth tones and muted blue-greys) with an additional pop of lilac. Those especially in-the-know (talking to all you loyal fans of The Goat) will already be aware that the brand is celebrating the 130th anniversary of its iconic Monogram, so naturally the print is splashed across denim, leather, nylon… You name it, they’ve done it. From all-black gothic baddie ‘fits to monochrome lilac co-ords and pink miniature tote bags, there really is something for everyone here. The only downside is you have to wait until 19 March to shop yourself.
