The best looks from São Paulo Fashion Week

Celebrating three decades, São Paulo Fashion Week brought together generations of Brazilian talent to showcase thirty-eight collections across theatres, museums and even trains. OG models made comebacks on the runway, and emotional tributes honoured the country’s most influential cultural innovators. The result was not just a celebration of Brazilian fashion, but also of the richness and creativity of Brazilian culture.
This season delivered everything from garments crafted out of human hair to designs referencing the circus. One collection that has dominated conversations in the aftermath of São Paulo Fashion Week is Apartamento 03, inspired by Benjamin de Oliveira, known as Brazil’s first Black circus clown. With oversized ruffs, checkered patterns and top hats, the show was playful and theatrical in the most sophisticated way. Marina Bitu’s more romantic collection featured flowing dresses scattered with petals, offering a softer contrast, while Bold Strap presented pieces designed to transition seamlessly from beachwear to partywear.
