Patrizia Pepe and Cirque Le Soir infused Milan Fashion Week with a surreal fantasy

The Italian brand teamed up with the London nightclub for their Urban Disco Jungle event, as well as presenting their AW24 collection.

In the midst of fashion month, Florence-based label Patrizia Pepe has revealed their creative collaboration with London’s Cirque Le Soir, kicking off Milan Fashion Week with a parade of psychedelia.

The Urban Disco Jungle took place at Alcatraz – an iconic Milan venue that has seen the likes of Justin Bieber, Nicki Minaj and IDLES grace its stage – and saw Patrizia Pepe transform the location into a surreal universe, combining the urban sensibilities with nature. As well as being a showcase for the brand’s latest AW24 collection, the event also acted as an occasion to celebrate its connection to music, art and design.

“If you don’t know, don’t worry,” the mantra of Cirque Le Soir (London’s iconic circus-themed nightclub), became the slogan for the night, inviting guests to share and exchange without fear or limitation, creating an environment of inclusivity and wonder. Meanwhile, performances from the top 10 artists of Cirque Le Soir were dressed as mythical creatures in freakily realistic costumes, presenting an unprecedented live show. Creatures of the night moved and danced animalistically, bringing to life an otherworldly, almost psychedelic realm.

This fantasy-inspired environment acted as the backdrop for Patrizia Pepe’s AW24 collection, worn by models through an installation of terrariums that became stages for femininity. Overall, the range presents precise, sleek and minimalist silhouettes that embrace Patrizia Pepe’s signature design codes: the masculine and the feminine, oversized shapes and close-fitting silhouettes, sensual transparencies and luminous textures, vibrant prints, metallic details and sequin embroidery.

Finally, accessories complete the look thanks to various bold shapes with geometric maxi sunglasses and jewellery expanded with organic contours, acting as the cherry on top of Patrizia Pepe’s grandiose event.
