Louis Vuitton announces global music superstar Lisa as house ambassador
Louis Vuitton is delighted to announce global music superstar and style icon, Lisa, as its newest House Ambassador.
Across the board, Lisa sets trends and approaches her craft with fearless authenticity. A recent guest at the Louis Vuitton Women’s FW24 show in Paris,
her bold sartorial choices notably reflect Nicolas Ghesquière’s own strong womenswear vision marked by individuality and empowerment.
Lisa first made a name for herself as a member of K-pop band BLACKPINK since their 2016 début. Lisa – born Lalisa Manobal – has been instrumental in redefining today’s global music culture.
The group’s meteoric rise to stardom was marked by numerous accolades and chart-topping hits which have resonated with millions,
driving an appetite for K-pop worldwide. Yet it is her recent ventures as a solo artist that truly showcase the Thai-born performer’s multifaceted talent and dedication to her craft.
The news of this new ambassador role comes at a very exciting time for Lisa, who recently released her new single “Rockstar.”
The song and official video have Lisa off to a soaring success as “Rockstar” propelled to the top of the charts after its release including #1 on Billboard’s Global Ex. US Chart,
#1 on YouTube Global Weekly Chart, #4 on Billboard Global 200 and a Top 10 Debut on Spotify Global Daily Chart (#8).
“Rockstar” is Lisa’s first single she has released under the new partnership with her recently launched management company, LLOUD Co. and RCA Records.
Launched earlier this year, LLOUD Co. was founded by LISA in an effort to create a platform to showcase her overall vision in music and entertainment that pushes boundaries.
Outside of music, Lisa is set to star in the upcoming season of the hit HBO Original series, The White Lotus, season 3.
This role will mark her major on-screen debut and is filming in her native Thailand. Indeed, Lisa’s impact extends beyond the realms of entertainment,
having been attributed an honorary Wattanakunathorn Award (Cultural Ambassador Leader) by the Thailand Cultural Centre for her positive promotion of Thai culture to the world.
Driven and daring, her achievements speak to values at the core of Louis Vuitton — a passion for creativity combined with a commitment to excellence in one’s craft.
“I am very excited to welcome Lisa as a House Ambassador. She has a daring spirit and charisma that I find incredibly compelling.
She is as bold and creative with her music as she is with her fashion, and it is a privilege to accompany her on this journey.”, says Nicolas Ghesquière,
Louis Vuitton Artistic Director of Women’s Collections.
In welcoming Lisa as a House Ambassador, Louis Vuitton celebrates not only a partnership of style but of shared values in excellence, culture, and craft.
The Maison looks forward to an exciting collaborative journey ahead, one as boundless and dynamic as Lisa herself.
