‘X’ is the A24 porn horror film to get excited about

A24 is the trademark stamp for any good film. When it comes to the cult production company, you often kind of know what to expect — but are ultimately always left surprised. 

A24 has given us the likes of Euphoria, C’mon C’mon, Waves, Lamb and Uncut Gems – productions that have created hype, left us teary-eyed and hanging on to any updates of the company’s next releases. 

And now, in typical A24 fashion, a brand new trailer for an upcoming porn horror, X, about a group of adult filmmakers set in the 70s in rural Texas has just dropped.

We don’t know a lot about X yet, but here’s what we do know: 

Ti West is directing it. The American director is a horror film veteran, with his repertoire of eerie, dark classics including V/H/S, The House of the Devil, You’re Next and The Sacrament. 

Mia Goth (Emma, Nymphomaniac) will be starring in the film, alongside Jenna Ortega (Scream, You, Insidious Chapter Two), Brittany Snow (Pitch Perfect, John Tucker Must Die), and Kid Cudi. 

Beyond that, all we have to get excited about right now is a film poster that sends a shiver all over our bodies, and a trailer that promises more A24 madness… 

X will be released in cinemas on March 18 2022.
