Watch: Internet reacts to ‘Iconic’ Zendaya and Anne Hathaway Bvlgari ad

The short film is set with the stunning backdrop of Rome, Bvlgari’s founding city, and treats us to a few minutes of the starring duo we didn’t know we needed. Oscar winner Hathaway features opposite Zendaya in the clip directed by Paolo Sorrentino (The Great Beauty) which calls back to Hathaway’s diamond-heavy role in Oceans 8.

“Accept Rome’s heartwarming invitation and search for joy and wonder in every moment, gleaming beauty in the most surprising places – knowing that staying curious opens us up to an infinity of blissful opportunities,” Bvlgari captioned the video release.

Elegant jewels are strewn about an estate as Hathaway gazes lustfully at rare gemstones and Zendaya herself. The actresses alternate narrating the film inviting viewers to “search for joy and wonder in every moment, gleaming beauty in the most surprising places.” Hathaway dons pieces from the brand’s iconic Serpenti collection, along with watches and jewellery from the Divas’ Dream collection, while Zendaya wears pieces from the B.Zero1 and BB collections.

Now that we’ve seen these two icons together on screen it’s safe to say we’re itching to see them in a full length film, much like the rest of the internet. Oceans 9 perhaps? “Zendaya and Anne Hathaway?! ICONIC.” While another said: “I’m kind of OBSESSED with this Zendaya and Anne Hathaway promo for Bvlgari! It feels like a sexy rich lesbian murder drama. Carol II: Carol of the Belles.”
