Telfar X Melissa’s jelly shoes collab will heal your inner child this summer

The new Telfar and Melissa collab is full of summer jelly goodness, with a hefty dose of your 5-year-old self’s go-to footwear. The two brands have combined their accessory knowledge for the release of a tote and transparent slides.

The cult-classic Telfar shopping bag is available in three classic sizes: small, medium, and large. It boasts a transparent purple-tinged hue, with the embossed ‘T’ logo in large on the face and the two different-length straps. It’s the perfect fusion of the two brands, with Melissa’s Melflex jelly materials reigning supreme over the releases.

The jelly sandals, however, are a bit of a standout when it comes to the pair of accessories. They are based on the signature Melissa sandals that hold a supportive buckle and backstrap and woven front feature, but opt more for an abstract slider option, elevating the childhood fave for the modern woman. 

In the same colourway and Melflex material, the jandals (new name?) have three large straps across the body of the foot with one vertical holding the pieces together and a tiny heel on the back – fancy. 

Fans of both brands – whose previous collabs have become cult faves – are saying they “snapped” with the partnership, dubbing the jelly shoes already “iconic”. 

If you are pining after your jelly shoe fix, the wait is not too long as the bag and shoes will be dropped on the 14th of July on Telfars website at 12 pm. Let’s face it, you will have to be quick on the mark as they are set to sell out rather quickly.
