Seeing double: Wiz Khalifa and Mia Khalifa announce they’re collaborating

Wiz Khalifa is teaming up with his namesake for a new release under his marijuana brand.

Fans have been sent into a frenzy over the announcement that Wiz Khalifa will team up with Mia Khalifa in a collaboration. The former adult star will join the artist for a release with the marijuana brand – Khalifa Kush.

Wiz took to his Twitter to share an image of himself with Mia, alongside a caption that read: “Y’all are gonna LOVE this Khalifa Kush collab I got comin’ wit @miakhalifa.” The brand was developed in the 2010s and launched in 2016, with Khalifa Kush being the strain of cannabis Wiz Khalifa grows. He often raps about it as well, nicknaming it ‘KK’ and writing a whole track with Juicy J and Project Pat on his album ‘Blacc Hollywood’.

But this collab has been a long time coming, and fans took to the internet to share their excitement over the two meeting. Mia, who shot to fame in the mid-2010s in the adult industry, revealed that her stage name was inspired by the rapper as she was a fan of his music since he started.

It all just makes sense, and the same last name and potential for a collab have been there since the start. For now, we aren’t exactly sure of the extent of this business partnership, as Mia has been rising in the fashion sphere and Wiz, obviously, a force to be reckoned with in music. Could this be the start of something major? Khalifa Kush has evolved into its own lifestyle brand after all, offering hoodies and apparel that read “Stay Positive and Stoned” and “Smoke Better Weed”. Only time and a dose of Khalifa Kush collaborating will tell.
