Greggs take aim at Kanye West’s new Yeezy shoe for looking like sausage rolls

Greggs have poked fun at Kanye West’s new Yeezy shoes in response to a photo posted on Twitter. Yeezy Mafia tweeted on Monday (11th July): “HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT THE SULFUR SO FAR?”, to which Greggs replied: “Two Sausage Rolls short of a multipack”.

Sneakerheads were quick to jump in the replies to share their own hilarious takes, with one user asking: “Kanye got these in vegan?” While another said: “Just need to pop it in the oven to warm up.”

The Yeezy 450 Sulfur trainers were initially priced at £170 but are currently listed for as much as £464 on reselling platforms. Per Hypebeast, the Adidas YEEZY 450 Sulfur features “one-piece Primeknit uppers with tightened bands around the ankle for a secure lockdown.”

Unfortunately, West hasn’t responded to the bakery just as of yet, but we think a Kanye West x Greggs beef would be absolutely bonkers. In fact, West hasn’t tweeted since 2020, although he did recently make a return to Instagram.

 The artist called out Adidas last month, over their recently-released Adilette 22 slide sandals, saying the shoe is “a fake Yeezy made by Adidas themselves. I’m not standing for this blatant copying no more,” West wrote in a now-deleted Instagram post. “This is for everyone who wants to express themselves but feel they can’t cause they’ll [lose] their contract or be called crazy [sic].”
