For Prada SS20, “woman” is an undefinable word
Who is the modern day Prada woman? As it turns out, she’s not just anyone; she’s everyone. For its latest campaign, the Italian fashion house has rejected the notion that womanhood should conform to any singular definition, casting a diverse range of models including Freja Beha, Ruiqi Jiang and Zso Varju who all embody the Prada spirit in their own, unique way.
Shifting between colour, black and white, portraiture and landscape, the campaign stills remind us that identity — and style — is in a constant state of flux. As individuals, we’re constantly evolving and refining and so is Prada. With a history spanning more than a hundred years, the house remains an unmistakable classic despite reinventing itself year upon year.
