Discover the rising spray artist inspired by pop surrealism

Rome-based illustrator and spray artist, Marco Réa, is the emerging Insta-artist to follow now. His collaboration entitled ‘MASK’- with photographer Chris Milo – sees him blend together luxe-beauty and Street Art. “I use the sprays as if they were a kind of surreal make up,” Rea tells Hunger. “The photos were taken by Chris in the studio with a digital camera [and] afterwards they were printed and I worked on them exclusively with spray cans.” The result is a hypnotic distortion of reality, a colourful tattooing of energy that is artful and melancholic.
