Dakota Johnson apparently locked people inside a coffee shop in New York

The allegation surfaced on Twitter on January 23 via a user with the handle @biz_socks. “True Story: Dakota Johnson once locked me and my Mom inside a Blue Bottle Coffee shop because the barista told her she couldn’t make the coffee herself,” they claimed above a quote tweet about the “pure chaos she radiates”, which included the infamous lime video.
That is, the clip where Johnson admits that she’s allergic to limes after waxing lyrical about her “love” for them during her 2020 home tour for Architectural Digest.
So, yeah, hostage-taking Johnson was a good entry into the canon of her exhibiting eccentric behaviour. Then, the Twitter user went on to provide something that looked like proof: a photo of the actress handling the door of a Blue Botte Coffee. “She closed the door on all of us who were still inside, pulled a rope out of her bag, tied the doors shut, and walked away. We had to have a passerby untie the rope so we could get out.”
So far so unbelievable right? Johnson could have just been holding the door open! But no. Another tweet resurfaced that appeared to corroborate some of @biz_socks’ story. Last October, a Twitter user with the handle, @benimacbamf, told an eerily similar, albeit far-fetched story.
“I hate seeing Dakota Johnson trending because one time she came into my coffee shop at milk studios at like 11am, walked behind the counter and started pretending that she was making drinks while her people tied the front doors shut from the outside and started filming her,” alleged the staff member, who apparently worked at the very same Blue Bottle Coffee.
In a dramatic twist, they continued: “Customers were trapped inside. When confronted, she told my coworker to move because she was “too fat to be on camera.” So, maybe Dakota Johnson is just a Huge Fucking Bitch and THAT’S why she doesn’t get invited to parties.
“I should add that Michelle burst into tears when Dakota Johnson said this to her, and Dakota Johnson laughed in her face.”
Ok, the latter might just be satire, but you can’t decry some of the similarities. I guess time will just have to tell with this one.
