Got something to celebrate? Or just craving some incredible Japanese food? Either way, head to ROKA, one of the finest in the restaurant game, to celebrate the brand’s 20 years in the business with a special celebration menu. The Japanese robatayaki restaurant is harking back to years gone by, and showcasing some of its most popular dishes, in a series of set menus throughout the year, and the April to June edition is spectacular – try it before they change it up. Choose from fried baby monkfish, grilled baby chicken, scallop sashimi, seared beef striploin with black truffle and indulge in the black sesame mochi ice cream with cherry blossom macarons for dessert. Or if you prefer to go for the regular menu, standout starters include the crab and black cod gyoza and tiger prawn tempura, then move on to the spicy yellowfin tuna maki and marinated black cod from the robata grill – all washed down with elegant cocktails such as the wonderful gin and sake-based Lychee Gimlet.
Next up, following the launch of its B&O Music Lates sessions, electronics brand Bang & Olufsen have announced a new series of cultural events that will see the brand’s flagship Mayfair store become a hub for artistic discovery. The events will transform the New Bond Street venue into a canvas for the capital’s most exciting visual artists, immersing store-goers in the creative world of London’s innovators. For the latest exclusive month-long residency at Bang & Olufsen of Mayfair, the venue will be welcoming British artist Robi Walters. The artist is known for his sustainable pieces, creating captivating lotus petal formations from reclaimed materials. His art, which carries narratives of nostalgia and personal connection, will be on display and available for purchase until 28th May.
