Laura Bailey shines in Chanel’s ‘Blush Watch’ collection
The Chanel ambassador models the maison’s ‘Blush Watch Capsule Collection’, which paints time with the beauty of make-up.
When Gabrielle Chanel launched her inaugural cosmetics collection in the 1920s, the maison’s founder understood that make-up was as much about the spirit it projected as the colour itself. Now, Chanel’s Watchmaking Creation Studio have adapted this concept to create a line of watches that function as the horological equivalent to a make-up collection — or, as the studio’s director Arnaud Chastaingt says, Chanel has found a way to “put make-up on time”.
