NYE parties we’re Hungry for

From Corsica Studios’ secret set to Studio 338’s firework rave, these are the parties to get involved with this New Year’s Eve.

First up we’ve got a special New Year’s edition of KOKO Electronic, the Camden-based venue’s late-night music series. If you’ve not been to KOKO before, that’s probably because the grade-two-listed building burnt down half a decade ago (yikes) and took a few years to restore. It’s been back for their annual NYE party since 2022, though, and it’s well and truly equipped to cater to all your party needs. This year, they’ve got a hot lineup of DJs including Jayda G, Ruby Savage and Dan Shake that you won’t want to miss. Arrive from ten and party the night away until doors close at five on New Year’s morning. Get your ticket here or grab one on the door.

Usually, east London’s favourite techno venue (we mean E1, of course) has their twenty-four-hour New Year’s Day rave. This year, though, they’re throwing their cleverly-named NYE1 (har har) party in their 1,600-cap, three-studio space. In the warehouse, Manchester-based house duo Mark Richards and James Eliot (better known as Solardo) will be headlining. In the Black Studio, there’ll be more of a mixture of genres with nimino – you’ll have heard his ‘I Only Smoke When I Drink’ on TikTok – fusing house, hip-hop and garage. There’s also a sick lineup slated for the White Studio, so there’s plenty to entertain you until kick-out time at 7am. It’s already eighty percent sold out so nab your ticket (link here) sooner rather than later.

Next up, we have Corsica Studios’ annual Rhythm Section party. As always, the lineup is electric in genre and in vibes. It’s also characteristically secret, but rumour has it that Bradley Zero will be on the decks for at least some of the night. Unsurprisingly, the Corsica Studios NYE party sells out every year, so get your ticket here before they all go. It’s also advised that you arrive a wee bit early (before midnight) — otherwise you’ll have to join the main queue for entry with the rest of the riff-raff. We don’t want that, do we?

Over in Greenwich, Studio 338 is also hosting their yearly NYE party. Unlike Corsica Studios, the full lineup is already out and features massive names like Low Steppa and Sidney Charles — plus about thirty more. The really special thing about the Studio 338 party, though, is that they have a firework show at midnight. Can you think of a better way to bring in the new year than that? We bloody thought not. Tickets are on their last release so make sure to nab one ASAP to avoid disappointment. Link here.

Last up, we have ye ol’ classic, Ministry of Sound. If you’re after more of a disco-slash-house vibe, this might be the event for you. As always, it’s going to be a massive one spanning their Elephant and Castle location’s four rooms, with a takeover of the 103 ‘central chamber’ (how ominous) by The Disco Express. Their other main acts include Paul Woolford, Jaguar, Danny Howard and Joshwa. It’s probably worth mentioning that Ministry has two Christmas parties and a Boxing Day rave lined up in the interim if you’re planning to let off a lot of steam while the office is shut for a couple weeks.
