Applications for The Women in Art Fair 2026 are now open

Today (28 January), the Women in Art Fair has announced its open call for WIAF 26, inviting women and women-identifying artists of any age, nationality and medium to step into the spotlight from 7 to 10 May.
This year, the fair is introducing an exciting new element: the WIAF Prize, recognising women artists based purely on excellence and individual achievement. An impressive selection committee includes renowned collectors Christian Levett and Batia Ofer, alongside art world figures Brigitta Freund and Virginia Damtsa.
Artists are encouraged to submit up to five works in any medium before the 27 March deadline, giving the committee a comprehensive overview of their creative vision and themes.
“In a world where women’s art continues to be overlooked, we offer a transformative space where their creativity takes centre stage,” the organisers said. Beyond exhibition opportunities, WIAF offers something equally valuable: a community of collectors, curators and fellow creators actively working to reshape the art world’s landscape.
For too long, female artists have created exceptional work that goes unseen and undervalued. The Women in Art Fair stands as both celebration and correction; a space where representation and value are foundational principles.
