The pair have produced a limited edition gender-neutral, visually striking bomber jacket designed for bartenders across the UK. The custom-made garment features Ahluwalia’s iconic wave pattern combined with the original map of the Glenfiddich distillery in Dufftown, Scotland, which was a source of inspiration for the designer. You can now enter a ballot for your chance to win the limited jacket here. Entries are open from 27th September 2023 to 25th October 2023, with winners announced on 1st November 2023.

Located on the corner of the market, the café/bar will open on Hackney Road from 20 – 29 October with bespoke coffee, cocktails, creative craft workshops and vinyl listening evenings, all inspired by Dominican rum brand Brugal. In the day, guests will be to pick up some Dominican coffee or even book a workshop with Earl of East for a candle-making class. Meanwhile, the evening will see the venue transform into a vinyl-listening and cocktail bar. There will also be a closing party on the 29th hosted by London’s beloved Spiritland.

Finally, Italian fashion house Gucci has marked the opening of a new immersive exhibition, Gucci Cosmos, in London. The exhibition is hosted at 180 The Strand – a site of special significance to the house thanks to its proximity to the Savoy hotel, where founder Guccio Gucci began working as a porter in 1897 and where he first came into contact with the fine luggage that would go on to inspire his eponymous brand. For the second edition of the Gucci Cosmos exhibition – the first was held in Shanghai in 2022 – show designer Es Devlin and curator Maria Luisa Frisa have worked with the brand to ground the show in Gucci’s ties to the capital across 11 distinct spaces. Fashion history buffs only have until December to see the installation, so be sure to snag your tickets soon.
