Shadow Play: The art of contouring

Shadow Play: a new beauty editorial blending contemporary art and extreme contouring. "The shadows on the model's face are deceptive as they were entirely created with makeup that realistically mimics contour and shape," says photographer Nicola Saint-Marc. "Each look was paired with a graphic line detail and designed so the angle of shadows would be at odds with the direction and/or strength of the lighting, producing a surprising and captivating impression."
