Let subversive Estonian rapper Tommy Cash be your internet guide
Tommy Cash is an incendiary, experimental rapper from Estonia. His unique brand of musical and visual anarchy feels like the product of trap, tumblr culture and punk iconoclasm. His concrete beats and laugh-out-loud lyrics – a phenomenon he has described as “Post-Soviet Rap” – make for a subversive, disruptive combination that has established Cash as an underground icon – a cause that was aided by his appearance in Charli XCX’s infamous “Boys” video.
We thought Cash was the perfect guide to contemporary internet culture. Read on to learn what he likes to read online and what strange things people have written about his work.
