Kate Moss reveals Johnny Depp once gave her a diamond necklace he pulled “out the crack of his arse”

In today’s news you wished you hadn’t seen, Kate Moss has revealed that Johnny Depp once gifted her a diamond necklace that, brace yourselves, he pulled “out the crack of his arse.” Apologies for that disturbing mental image. 

The model was in a relationship with Depp between 1994 and 1998 and recalled the gesture in a video for British Vogue, where she looked back at her iconic looks over the last 30 years. While looking at an outfit she’d worn in 1995, which paired a glittering diamond necklace with a John Galliano dress, Moss said: “That diamond necklace Johnny gave me. They were the first diamonds I ever owned. He pulled them out the crack of his arse.” To Depp’s credit, it’s certainly a unique way to present a gift, but we’d probably recommend against trying it yourself if you’re not a multimillionaire. We doubt it would have the same effect if the diamonds were substituted for a Pandora charm, for example.

Moss added: “We were going out for dinner and he said, ‘I’ve got something in my bum, can you have a look?’ And I was like, ‘What?’ I put my hand down his trousers and pulled out a diamond necklace. That diamond necklace.” Let’s just hope that it was given a quick scrub before it was seen on the red carpet.

Earlier this year, Moss testified in the defamation trial between Depp and his ex-wife Amber Heard. Moss denied a claim, made by Heard, that Depp had pushed Moss down the stairs during their relationship in the 90s. Moss revealed in an interview with BBC Radio 4 show Desert Island Discs she felt she “had to say the truth” when asked to testify in the case.
