ISAMAYA recruits Julia Fox for a lesson in BDSM-interplanetary glam

The beauty brand called on the star for a metallic collection that reimagines its classics.

The new beauty brand founded by renowned make-up artist Isamaya Ffrench is back with more lessons to teach us beauty lovers the most glam way to get the alien look. Building on their viral penis-shaped lipsticks, (which were banned from view in stores for their controversial design) their latest campaign recruits the help of beauty pioneer Julia Fox, who is giving us the ultimate lesson in sexy extraterrestrial makeup.

The campaign, shot in South London alongside Richie Shazam, is called Industrial 2.0 and remixes the brand’s signature classics for a 2023 update. The fan favourites of the pressed pigment palette and the plumping lip serum return, with accompaniments of a brand new chrome and metal-inspired outer design.

The lip serum’s new metallic shades arrive in two cool-toned shades of ‘Metal’ in silver and ‘Rusty’ in a striking gold and orange mixture. The Colour Pigments Palette utilises creamy wet powders and iridescent tones, with the addition of pearl duo-chromes.

The BDSM-inspired campaign sees Fox draped in chains with piercings across her lips. Each of the models dons a spiky metallic eye design from the collection, throwing a sultry stare at the camera. As part of the launch, Isamaya said they will be supporting the LGBTQIA+ charity Outside Org via donations, with Ffrench holding a masterclass for the community.
