Victorious – Southsea, Portsmouth, August 25th – 27th

Nestled in the seaside resort of Southsea and sitting alongside the promenade and part of its long-stretching shingle coast line, Victorious is the UK’s biggest metropolitan festival of music. As well as champagne bars hidden away in turrets, sneaker stalls along the common and views out to the Isle of Wight, Victorious has got a pretty impressive music line-up. The Friday on the main stage alone might be one of the best days of music at any festival this weekend. Start off your afternoon with HUNGER August digital cover star Mae Muller, followed by 90’s Britpop legends The Charlatans, then Indie-dance stars Friendly Fires, R’n’B sensation Raye and finishing up with some serious funk from headliners Jamiroquai.

All Points East is continuing this weekend in East London. On Friday, there’s the Strokes, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and more, on Saturday, Jungle and Erykah Badu, on Sunday Olivia Dean and Aurora, and closing it out, Haim on Monday. How’s that for a killer lineup?
