10 Questions with GASHI
Based in Brooklyn, GASHI was born in Libya to Albanian parents, with whom he immigrated to the US with in the late 90s. Blending together his rich heritage with pure New Yorker vibes, GASHI’s music is authentic and playful, with powerful raps, sharp beats and daring statements. Loving ice cream (from Carvel in particular) as much as he loves trap tracks, his multifaceted personality seeps into his spirited songs: baring his soul through his creations, he’s a much-needed break from the toxic masculinity of the music industry, and Gashi’s ready to give all it takes.
