Atlantis The Royal, the new frontier of luxury hospitality, goes high-fashion with LV
It’s hard to imagine a stay at Atlantis The Royal being even an ounce more luxe, but by teaming up with fashion house Louis Vuitton, apparently they’ve done the impossible. As a celebration of the resort’s first anniversary, Vuitton’s famous Vivienne mascot has travelled all the way from the ateliers of Paris to the United Arab Emirates to offer up a first of its kind installation that mixes augmented reality with larger-than-life sculptures.
Though Vivienne is synonymous with the French designer, she only made her debut back in 2017 as a collectible figurine. But for this collab she’s taking the form of six statues positioned around Atlantis The Royal that each stand at 3-metres tall. More than that, each Vivienne will invite guests to partake in LV-themed AR experiences: think whole new worlds in your pocket, and a digital map that will reveal the Vivienne sculptures across the resort… It’s like a luxe treasure hunt. And if that still isn’t enough Viviennes for the Louis Vuitton aficionado, there’ll also be two 10-metre tall, inflatable versions at the entrance to the resort and on the top of Estiatorio Milos, the hotel’s renowned seafood restaurant.
The collaboration between Louis Vuitton and Atlantic The Royal was inspired not only by the resort’s milestone birthday, but the desire to celebrate LV’s legacy within the luggage world. Even more than LV is synonymous with Vivienne, the French house is known for its luxury trunks and suitcases that have been trawled around by every celeb and through the doors of Atlantic The Royal more times than we can imagine. For this collab, the perfect marriage of all those things comes in the form of a limited edition collection of 18 trunk stickers. Those making a reservation at Atlantis The Royal between now and the 31st of May will be gifted one sticker each night of their stay.
While it’s tough to sum-up the grandeur of Atlantis The Royal in just a few words, we’ll give it a go. Located on Dubai’s renowned Palm Crescent, the resort consists of 795 elegant rooms, suites and signature penthouses, 44 of them with private infinity pools. Featuring stunning views of the Dubai skyline and Arabian Sea, Atlantis the Royal is the place to go on the Palm. Oh, we nearly forgot — it’s also where Beyonce did her unforgettable concert back in January of 2023.
And where does LV come into this? Well, it’s Atlantis The Royal that houses the fashion house’s first ever resort store in the Middle East, which opened in November of last year.
